Yoga in the Park: What to Expect This Summer

Yoga in the Park: What to Expect This Summer

There's something magical about rolling out your mat under an open sky. This summer, Fit Mind-Body Conditioning is bringing yoga outdoors with our Yoga in the Park series — a seasonal offering designed to help you connect with your practice, your community, and nature all at once.

What Is Yoga in the Park?

Yoga in the Park is an outdoor group yoga experience held at Founders Park in Covington, WA on Wednesday evenings, starting June 24, 2026. Classes are designed to be accessible for all levels — whether you're brand new to yoga or have been practicing for years. Expect a blend of breathwork, flowing movement, and grounding stillness, all set to the backdrop of fresh air and natural surroundings.

What to Bring

Come prepared with your yoga mat, a water bottle, sunscreen, and comfortable clothing you can move freely in. We recommend arriving a few minutes early to settle in and connect with fellow participants before class begins.

Why Practice Outdoors?

Research shows that spending time in nature reduces stress, boosts mood, and enhances overall well-being. Combine that with the mind-body benefits of yoga, and you have a powerful recipe for feeling your best. Outdoor yoga also invites you to tune into your senses — the warmth of the sun, the sound of the breeze — deepening your mindfulness practice naturally.

How to Join

Sessions will be held weekly on throughout the summer. Scan the QR code for upcoming dates and book your spot in advance to secure your place. Space is limited to keep the experience intimate and community-focused.

We can't wait to practice with you outside this summer. See you in the park!
